Purpose <br /> Sycamore Environmental conducted a jurisdictional delineation of wetlands and waters of the <br /> it U S for the Weber Point Southbank Seawall Project in the City of Stockton Wetlands and <br /> waters of the U S are subject to jurisdiction by the U S Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) ' <br /> under Section 404 (b)(1)of the Clean Water Act and Section,10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act <br /> q, of 1899 This document will be submitted to the Corps with a request for a verification Upon <br /> r verification and Incorporation of any adjustments following the Corps' review, a final <br /> � I <br /> jurisdictional delineation map will be prepared <br /> B. Methods <br /> 1. Field Surreys ' <br /> s A jurisdictional delineation of the project study area was conducted on 29 April 1997 by R <br /> John Little, Ph D The survey was conducted in accordance with the Corps of Engineers ' <br /> i Wetlands Delineation Manual(Corps, 1987) and guidance received during conversations with <br /> the Corps(personal communication, Jim Monroe, 5 February 1997 and Dave Tedrick, 3 April <br /> ii 1997) The entire study area was traversed on foot while surveying for junsdictional features ' <br /> 2.
