Elk Lodge Property • 317 South Center Street ' Stockton, California ' Report of Findings— Continued Site Assessment 1.0 Project Identification First Commercial Real Estate has retained WIU, Inc., Environmental and Engineering Group to conduct a Phase II Continued Site Assessment for the Elks Lodge Property, located at 317 South Center Street in Stockton, California. The purpose of this continued site assessment was to complete a soil profile underlying the site and to determine the ' impact, if any, to the soil and groundwater. ' 2.0 Site Location & History , . The Elks Lodge Property is located in Stockton, California (Figure 1). The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) is 137-31-10 in San Joaquin County. The site is located in the Northwest '/a of Section 21, Township 1 North, Range 6 East. The subject parcel has a ' physical address known as 317 South Center Street, Stockton, California (Figure 2). The subject property has been used for residential, commercial, retail and industrial purposes. It has been previously used as an auto parts wrecking yard and a dry cleaning facility. The auto wrecking yard was present between 1949 and 1955. In 1960 the site was cleared. The site is currently owned by the Elks Lodge. Condor Earth Technologies of Turlock, California, had conducted a Phase I Environmental Assessment and generated an Environmental Assessment Report dated ' August 15, 2000. Based on the field observations and data presented in the aforementioned report, an exploratory boring was considered necessary. 3.0 Scope of Work ' On February 15'h, 2001 AW completed one shallow soil boring to a depth of 26.5 feet, the point at which groundwater was first encountered. The soil samples were taken for ' purposes of analyzing contaminates and to determined soil lithology near the southwest • corner of the concrete pad.
