The remaining sample <br /> will be removed from its liner to be used as an aide to the on-site professional in <br /> logging the material at that depth. <br /> Soil samples collected for analysis will be analyzed using EPA Method 801.5- <br /> Modified for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, <br /> and motor oil, EPA Method 8260B for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, total <br /> nes (BTEX), oxygenates, ethylene dibromide, and 1,2-dichloroethane, priority <br /> 1 pollut e__-a met , EPA Metho 8010 or purgeable halocarbons, and EPA <br /> Method 0 or aromatic halo ons. Analyses are to be conducted by <br /> feo alytical Laboratories, Inc., a State-certified laboratory in Modesto, <br /> California. <br /> 3.3 Groundwater Sampling <br /> ' A travel blank provided by the laboratory will accompany the sample vials from <br /> the time they are picked up from the lab to the time they are delivered to the <br /> ' lab. This travel blank should be listed on the Chain of Custody but will be <br /> analyzed only if all samples contain the same contaminants. <br /> ' Care will be taken to ensure that no air space exists in the vials by inverting to <br /> check for bubbles and re-sampling if necessary. The samples will be analyzed or <br /> extracted within 14 days according to their EPA methods. Water samples <br /> ' collected for analysis will be analyzed using EPA Method 8015-Modified for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, and motor oil, EPA <br /> Method 8260B for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, total xylenes (BTEX), <br /> oxygenates, ethylene dibromide, and 1,2-dichloro ethane, priority pollutant heavy <br /> metals, EPA Method 8010 for purgeable halocarbons, and EPA Method 8020 for <br /> aromatic halocarbons.
