In her nine <br /> years of professional experience, Ms. Fanelli has gained significant experience in <br /> conducting site remedial investigations at hazardous waste sites. Her responsibilities <br /> have included the design of investigation activities, the development of sampling <br /> plans, integration of various data collected as part of site investigations, evaluation <br /> of data, and preparation of project reports. She has managed staff as well as <br /> drilling and laboratory contractors involved in the investigation activities, while <br /> maintaining the project budget. <br /> Her technical background is in hydrogeology and she regularly uses techniques for <br /> estimating hydraulic gradients and hydraulic conductivity. Ms. Fanelli also has <br /> experience in computer and analytical modelling for hydraulic and chemical trans- <br /> port as well as various geophysical surveying methodologies. <br /> Ms. Fanelli is currently assisting PG&E manage the investigation and remediation <br /> of 23 former manufactured gas plant sites, located throughout PG&E's service area <br /> in California. Preliminary endangerment assessments (PEAS), as defined by the <br /> California DHS are being completed for these sites. Ms. Fanelli's responsibilities <br /> include the ranking and grouping of the 23 sites based on level of effort required to <br /> complete the PEA, developing RFPs for the various groups of sites, and managing <br /> consultants selected by PG&E to complete the PEAS. <br /> The following are hazardous waste investigation and remediation projects for which <br /> Ms. Fanelli has had responsibility: <br /> • Assisted in data compilation, analysis, and report preparation for the <br /> additional field studies report for PG&E's Daly City former manu- <br /> factured gas plant facility <br /> • Project Manager for a groundwater study of Logan Airport, <br /> Massachusetts, including the identification of sources of site <br /> contamination by hydrocarbon-derived fuels and waste oil, potential <br /> SFO SAC31614\WP\025.51 <br />
