If there are no significant comments on the DRAP or on the proposed Negative <br /> Declaration, the DRAP and proposed Negative Declaration are expected to be finalized and <br /> approved by DTSC in March, 1998. <br /> The public comment period on the DRAP and the proposed Negative Declaration began on <br /> January 9, 1998 and will end on February 9, 1998. A public meeting on these documents <br /> and the proposed remedial strategy for this site was held in Stockton on January 20, 1998. <br /> On January 7, 1998,the Fact Sheet was mailed to DTSC's mandatory mailing list and to <br /> residents and businesses within a four block radius of the site. English and Spanish <br /> versions of the Fact Sheet were mailed to the residents and businesses within a four block <br /> radius of the site. A public notice was placed in the January 9, 1998 Stockton Record <br /> (local newspaper)to announce the public comment period on the DRAP and the proposed <br /> Negative Declaration and to announce the public meeting. <br /> The next quarterly groundwater monitoring will be conducted in March, 1998. The results <br /> of this quarterly monitoring will be submitted to DTSC and the RWQCB by the end of <br /> April 1998. <br /> V.
