' 20 March 2015
AGE Project No. 00-0769
' • TPH-g, BTEX, 1,2 DCA, and TAME were reported in every hydrogeologic unit
sampled (HU-1 through HU-5: Figures 7-11).
• The lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater
remains somewhat undefined; however the dissolved plume has been
adequately assessed. The volume of the dissolved plume has been documented
' with grab groundwater samples and monitoring well samples.
' 7.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of the ozone injection pilot test, AGE recommends performing a
' second, short-term, liquid-based ISCO pilot test utilizing hydrogen peroxide to inject into
selected HU1 and HU2 wells, at the site. If favorable results are obtained from the pilot
test, AGE recommends preparation of a remedial action work plan (RAWP) proposing
' ISCO remediation consisting of a combination of ozone and hydrogen peroxide
injections.
' Additionally, AGE recommends continuation of the semi-annual groundwater monitoring
and reporting program; the next semi-annual groundwater monitoring is scheduled for
March 2015; results of the semi-annual event should be evaluated and submitted to the
EHD prior to preparing the RAWP.
' 8.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily
' exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. Findings
were based upon field measurements and analytical results provided by an independent
laboratory. Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this
' investigation are made from a limited number of available data points (i.e. field data and
groundwater samples), and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data
points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
' interpretations, opinions, and recommendations contained in this report.
1
Advanced GeoGnvironmental Inc.
