CA 95206 <br />LOP Case#: 505309 <br />APN: 14716003 <br />SW RCB-CUF#: 012186 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed Soil Vapor <br />Survey Work Plan dated October 19, 2009 submitted by Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. The <br />plan is in response to requirements established by the EHD as a result of a meeting held July <br />30, 2009. <br />The plan proposes installing four offsite shallow soil vapor probes to the north and northeast of <br />the site along Jackson Street near buildings/homes with partial subterranean rooms. <br />The plan is adequate and necessary and approved. [H&S 25296.10(c)(3)]. <br />Please submit an EHD Well Permit Application Form and $434 fee and a copy of the City of <br />Stockton encroachment permit by November 20, 2009. <br />The report of findings for this field work is due on Geotracker by January 22, 2010. The report <br />is to also include the following: <br />1. Calculations for estimates of the current sorbed and dissolved contaminant masses. <br />2. A revised evaluation of the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of ground water extraction <br />and disposal and other remedial alternatives to cleanup the ground water. <br />3. The date the work plan for and installation of monitoring wells with screened intervals <br />between 40 feet below ground surface (' bgs) and 100' bgs will be submitted to the <br />EHD. <br />4. The date the work plan for and installation of additional wells to delineate the lateral and <br />vertical extents of the ground water plume will be submitted to the EHD. <br />The EHD has been advised that the soil vapor extraction system will be online very <br />soon. <br />Please submit a remediation status report to the EHD during the First Quarter — 2010 and every <br />quarter thereafter until advised by the EHD that a change to the quarterly requirement will be <br />made. <br />
