N ` <br /> Interim Ground Water Remediation Work Plan <br /> FERNANDO'SPLACE <br /> 1201 South Center Street, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Roger Huckins Jr., former property owner of 1201 South Center Street, <br /> Stockton, California (site), Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Interim <br /> Ground Water Remediation Work Plan. The proposed ground water extraction system will operate <br /> in conjunction with the proposed soil vapor extraction system surrounding the former underground <br /> storage tank (UST) release areas. The site location is illustrated on Figure 1 . Structures and boring <br /> locations on the site are illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is provided in <br /> Appendix A. <br /> This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EBD) by letter dated 19 October 2006 (Appendix B) and was prepared in accordance <br /> with the Regional Water Quality Control Board' s Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites guidelines forthe investigation <br /> of UST sites. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of the work includes installation of four ground water extraction wells, installation of a <br /> ground water treatment system and initiation of shallow and deep ground water extraction, treatment <br /> and disposal. The interim remedial effort will be performed to reduce the recalcitrant mass of <br /> dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons in ground waterbeneath the site. The scope of work will include <br /> the following tasks : <br /> • Permitting, planning and pre-field work tasks; <br /> • Installation of ground water extraction wells; <br /> • Installation of remediation piping system; <br /> • Installation of ground water treatment system; <br /> • Ground water extraction and treatment system start-up; <br /> • Monitoring and maintenance; <br /> • Progress/confirmation sampling. <br /> • Quarterly Reporting <br /> Each of these tasks are discussed below in detail. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br />
