The <br /> Fund is also concerned with the excessive monitoring costs of with the multiple-screened wells <br /> that have been installed at this site. The Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP <br /> direct the Responsible Party significantly reduce the monitoring frequency of non-detect <br /> monitoring points and implement active remediation without delay. The Fund will review this <br /> site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, May 2009, this investigation has been underway for 15 years. The Fund <br /> recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP direct the Responsible Party to reduce <br /> monitoring and focus limited resources on active remediation. The Fund will review this site <br /> next year to track progress. <br />
