Recommendation: <br /> In May 2008, the Fund made the following recommendation: The Fund is <br /> concerned that after 14 years and over 670,000 dollars spent, no remediation <br /> has been conducted at this site. The Fund is also concerned with the excessive <br /> monitoring costs of with the multiple-screened wells that have been installed at <br /> this site. The Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP direct the <br /> Responsible Party significantly reduce the monitoring frequency of non-detect <br /> monitoring points and implement active remediation without delay. The Fund will <br /> review this site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, May 2009: This investigation has been underway for 15 years.
