r I I ATC SnY SAFETY PLAN KEY SAFETY PERSONNEL AND RESPONSIBILITIES All personnel working for ATC at the job site are responsibl for project safety. The operational and health and safety responsibilities of pertinent ATC personnel are identified below. 1 BRANCH MANAGER: Jeanne Ho sey The Branch Manager is responsible for the provisions and bmittal of this SSP to the Site Safety Officer (SSO) and for advising the SSO on health and safety mat ers. He has the authority to provide for the auditing of compliance with the provisions of this SSP,suspei d or modify work practices,and to recommend disciplinary action for individuals whose conduct does not i icet the provisions presented in this SSP. The Branch Manager is also responsible for ensuring that Medii al Surveillance Exams and Training Programs are current for all personnel working on-site. The Branch Manager reports to the Corporate Safety Manager. SITE SAFETY OFFICER: Tom Lutterman The SSO is responsible for the dissemination of the informa ion contained in this SSP to all ATC personnel working at the job site,and to the responsible representative s}of each subcontractor firm working for ATC at the job site. The SSO is responsible for ensuring the fol owing items are adequately addressed: Safety Supplies and Equipment Inventory; Acc identlIncident Reporting Procedures; Decontamination/Contamination Reduction Procedures; Gen-ral Safe Work Practices. The SSO has the authority to suspend work anytime shethe determines the safety provisions set-forth in this SSP are inadequate to ensure worker safety. The SSO shall also inform the Project Manager of individuals whose conduct does not meet the safety provisions of this SSFI. The Site Safety Officer reports to the Project Manager. A SSO or the alternate must be present during th field work operations. l f PAGE 14
