Center St. CUF#: 04423 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 APN: 165-072-28 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed <br /> Ground Water Monitoring Reduction Request dated June 18, 2009 submitted by your <br /> consultant, PSC, and has the following comments. <br /> To comply with the recently adopted Resolution #2009-0042 by the State Water <br /> Resources Control Board, the sampling requirements for your site has been reduced to <br /> the following: <br /> • Semi-annual — MW-2, MW-2A, and MW-5A for total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> gasoline (TPHg) and benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX). <br /> • Annual— MW-1, MW-3, MW-4, and MW-5 for the same constituents. <br /> Your request to discontinue analyses for the fuel oxygenates and the lead scavengers is <br /> approved. Be advised, prior to the EHD evaluating your site for closure, all wells are to <br /> be sampled for all constituents for the quarter preceding the submittal of the No Further <br /> Action Request report, <br /> In correspondence dated March 18, 2009, the EHD advised that additional investigation <br /> was required at this site to define the vertical and lateral extents of the impacted ground <br /> water plume. A plan that addresses this concern was to be submitted by June 1, 2009. <br /> As of the date of this letter, the SCM and work plan have not been submitted to <br /> Geotracker and are overdue. Please provide the EHD an update of your intentions and <br /> a schedule showing dates the SCM and work plan will be submitted, the dated the <br /> monitoring well will be installed, and the date the report of findings will be submitted to <br /> Geotracker. <br /> You may contact Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454 if you have any questions. <br /> Michael J.
