CENTER-STREET, STOCKTON, CA
is being considered by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD).
The active case identification is Local Oversight Program (LOP) Case #2371..
The. EHD has determined that the extent and nature of impacted soil and groundwater
.have been adequately characterized, the plume of impacted groundwater is stable or
contracting, and that it currently. poses an acceptable level of risk to down-gradient
sensitive receptors,. such as drinking water wells. Impacted groundwater is believed to
have migrated off-site and may. underlie adjacent parcels and/or the pubic right-of-way;
while impacted groundwater may not be safe to use as drinking water at this time, it is
believed that the groundwater will return to maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) for
drinking water for the chemicals of concern, over a period of 37 to 64 years.
Reports utilized by the EHD.to make this determination are available for public review at
the.EHD office at 600 E.. Main Street, Stockton, California, during normal working
:hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Public comments in regard to the "No Further Action Required" status
consideration will be.accelpted through the close of business on 09 March 2012.
Questions should be directed;to Nuel Henderson, PG, at (209) 468-3436.
i
