Center St. Clean Up Claim #4423 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed <br /> Work Plan for Post Remediation Soil Testing submitted by your consultant on <br /> June 1, 2006 and has the following comments. <br /> As previously discussed with your consultant, ETIC Engineering, shutting down <br /> of your soil vapor extraction system on site will now require confirmation soil <br /> sampling to be conducted.to evaluate the effectiveness of the remedial action. <br /> This work plan proposes drilling a soil boring to 55 feet below ground surface <br /> (`bgs) in the area of the former underground storage tanks (UST) and collecting <br /> and analyzing soil samples from five-foot intervals for TPHg, BTEX, and five fuel <br /> oxygenates (TBA, MtBE, DIPE, EtBE,. and TAME). <br /> The proposal is adequate and necessary{CA H&S Code 25296.10(c)(3) and <br /> approved with the following condition. In addition to the proposed suite of <br /> chemical analytes, please add 1,2-DCA, Lead, and EDB for the 10', 15', 20' and <br /> 25' bgs soil samples. Currently ESL Surfer— <br /> October 2005 (Excel 2000) is initially used by EHD and the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) to evaluate UST sites <br /> requesting NFA.
