Details are now being worked out in
those Agreements with the Water Board and all parties involved which has caused
some delay in the execution of these Agreements.
We simply want to make sure that all agreements are executed before the work
begins so that the costs are eligible for Tank Fund reimbursement and believe we can
have the agreements signed by next week or so.
It is our understanding that the consultants have applied for drilling permits with
the County and an encroachment permit with the City of Stockton. Depending upon the
City issuing the encroachment permit (the City has indicated the permit would not be
ready until June 30th), the drill rig is available for June 281 (for one day) to possibly drill
the two on-site wells, or June 301, July 11 and July 2nd to do all the wells with one
mobilization which Is less costly.
We would prefer to schedule the drill rig for July 10'and 2nd in order that the
encroachment permit is issued and in hand so that the installation of all three
monitoring wells can be done with one mobilization. Ground Zero assures us that the
report of findings for the three monitoring wells will be submitted on or before July 30,
1999.
