This is to notify you that Section 25297:15 (a)-in Chapter 6.7 <br /> f of the Health and Safety Code includes a requirement that EHD (local agency) not issue a <br /> closure letter, or make a determination that no further action is required with respect to <br /> "hazardous substance" underground storage tank release sites unless all current record owners <br /> of fee title to the site have been _notified of the proposed 'action by the primary or active <br /> responsible party. <br /> Using the enclosed form, please identify all record fee title owners with their contact information <br /> f and provide EHD certification inwriting that all record fee title owners have been notified of the <br /> i pending case closure. If you are'the sole property owner, provide a statement of that fact to <br /> EHD to fulfill this requirement. <br /> a <br /> In addition, prior to a case closure (a `no further action required') letter being issued to you, all <br /> wells.installed during the site investigation must be properly destroyed under EHD permit and <br /> inspection. Wells located in areas known or suspected to be contaminated must have the well <br /> contents removed, typically throu9h drilling them out; and then be grouted;.otherwise, the wells <br /> can be pressure grouted with the.requfred below surface cut off and mushroom cap as stated in <br /> the San Joaquin County Well Standards Any deviations from the well standards must be <br /> justified.
