INTRODUCTION ,.
I
I
r + ,
_At the 'request of Mr Roger Huckins, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this
tquarterly ground water monitoring report for the property located at 1201 South Center Street,
I' Stockton,California(site) The scope ofwork included monitoring and sampling the`nine monitoring
wells on and off-site and preparation of this report The location of the site is illustrated in Figure
' ''1 Locations of structures, borings and monitoring wells related to the site are illustrated in Figure
11 ,
2 Site background information is provided in Appendix A
'2.0. PROCEDURES -
1 1
The September 2003 monitoring event was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional
i Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (EHD) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and for
' 1 sampling ground water monitoring wells, respectively
, I
' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
LOn 02 and 03 September 2003, ground water monitoring and sampling was performed at 31 ground
water monitoring points, from a total of nine wells(MW-1 through MW-9D) A coordinated effort
was made with Arc Pump and Welding(1211 Turnpike Road)to conduct ground water monitoring
Factivities concurrently,'the Arc Pump and Welding depth to water results are included Im Table 1
i On 02 September 2003;a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to water in all the
' wells to the nearest 0 01,foot,, relative to the top of the well casing Between 02 and 03 September
i 2003,approximately 6 to 45 gallons of ground water(a minimum of three casing-water volumes per
I well)were evacuated(purged)from single-level wells MW-1,MW-2A,MW-2B,MW-3A and MW-
-,3B utilizing disposable polyethylene bailers or a two-stage pump Multi-level monitoring wells MW-
4 through MW-9 were purged utilizing a Watera inertial'puirip Approximately 0 40 to 5 '5'gallons
of ground water(a minimum of three casing-water volumes per well) were purged from, the' multi-
level monitoring wells 1
Temperature,pH and conductivity were measured for stabilization at regular purge-volume intervals z
' from each well using an Oakton water analyzer Field data and logs are provided in Appendix B
`Purged water was temporarily stored on-site 'in 55-gallon DOT-approved H-17 storage drums s
pending proper disposal
Advanced GeoEnviranmental,inc
I tk I
 , I
i I
