This proposal was developed after correspondence with Harry Montgomery of <br /> SJRRC, using Kleinfelder's current understanding of the site conditions, and is a preliminary <br /> understanding of your desires and requirements. We have prepared this proposal based on <br /> information usually requested in a workplan by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Department, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) and the State of California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board Central Valley Office (RWQCB). <br /> Kleinfelder is committed to providing a high level of service to its clients, commensurate with <br /> their wants and needs. We look forward <br /> to the opportunity to serve you. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Espana Geotechnical Consulting has conducted a Phase I Hazardous Materials Study of the <br /> proposed Tracy Multimodal Station in Tracy, California. This proposal / workplan is based on <br /> their findings and our approved proposal. <br /> The property consists of approximately 86,000 square feet. The site is bound on the north by Sixth <br /> Street, on the south by the Southern Pacific Transportation Company railway, on the east by <br /> Central Avenue and the west by the extension of North "F" Street.
