VA TC
A S S O C I A T E S I N C .
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the analytical results of the Limited Phase II: Subsurface Investigation, it is the
judgment of ATC that the soil beneath the site does not appear to be impacted by volatile organic
compounds associated with the abandoned sand-water seperator's use by the laundry formerly
located at the site.
ATC recommends no further investigative action with regard to the sand-water seperator at this
time. ATC recommends that the sand-water seperator be either abandoned in place by filling it
with concrete, or be removed and disposed of during future planned demolition and excavation at
the site, according to the future needs of site development.
wlenviromenta1\05257\5406\Sub Inv Rpt.doc 3
