Observed an unlabeled 55-gallon drum of unknown contents that Mr. Mashiana has confirmed that the drum contained an unknown liquid. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a hazardous waste determination for the 55-gallon drum of unknown liquid and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. This is a minor violation. Overall Inspection Comments: Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, by March 3, 2016. Notes: A verbal consent to inspect, photograph and take sample was given by Parminder Mashiana, Secretary. Change of ownership occurred in August 2015. No hazardous waste was generated last calendar year and the facility has not hauled any hazardous waste off site since the change of ownership in August 2015 according to Mr. Mashiana.
