<br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed First Quarter
<br /> Groundwater Monitoring Report - February 2019 (report), dated 08 April 2011, prepared and
<br /> submitted by your consulting firm, Condor Earth Technologies, Inc. (Condor), for the above-
<br /> referenced site on your behalf. In the report, Condor recommends that the sampling frequency
<br /> of monitoring wells MW-4D, MW-5 and MW-6, installed in May 2010, be reduced to annually,
<br /> during the fourth quarter of each year. The EHD has reviewed the historical analytical data for
<br /> groundwater collected from the eight monitoring wells installed prior to 2011 and directs that
<br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3R, MW-4D, and MW-6 be sampled biennially, sample
<br /> MW-4 and MW-5 semi-annually in light of the moderately high concentrations of contaminants
<br /> of concern detected in groundwater collected from these two wells; and sample newly-installed
<br /> monitoring well MW-7 quarterly for one hydrologic cycle. Analyze the groundwater samples for
<br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g); total petroleum hydrocarbons
<br /> quantified as diesel (TPH-d); and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX).
<br /> Based on the total depth measurement recorded on 25 February 2011, it appears that MW-3R
<br /> has "silted in". Please redevelop this well prior to sampling it.
