.r
%""Monitoring Well installation Work Plan
Raymond Investment Corporation
August 11,2004
Page 4
1.+
water purged from the wells will be containerized in 55-gallon drums and left on site pending analytical
results of the groundwater samples. The groundwater samples will be collected with a clean, disposable
L. bailer and transferred to laboratory-supplied containers. Each container will be labeled for sample
identification and placed in a cooler chilled with ice. Upon completion of the fieldwork, the groundwater
samples will be delivered under chain-of-custody procedures to a California certified laboratory for
Lo analyses.
4.0 LABORATORY ANALYSES
La The soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPH-G, TEPH-D, TEPH-MO, and total
extractable petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as kerosene (TEPH-K) by EPA Method 8015B, and for
benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, total xylenes (BTEX), and selected gasoline oxygenates/additives by
EPA Method 8260B. The selected gasoline additives/oxygenates include methanol, ethanol, tertiary-
butanol (TBA), methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPS), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether
(ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and EDB. The soil samples
will be analyzed for total lead by EPA Method 7420.
5.0 REPORTING
Condor will prepare a report detailing the monitoring well installation, surveying, development, and
sampling activities to be submitted to the SJCEHD. The report will include a discussion of the field and
laboratory procedures used to conduct the investigation, geological logs of the borings, a discussion and
L• presentation of the analytical results, and recommendations. Condor will also submit the laboratory data
in EDF to GeoTracker.
•• ' 6.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE
Upon approval of this work plan by the SJCEHD and notification by the client to proceed, the field
portion of the monitoring well installation, surveying, development, and sampling can be completed
within approximately eight weeks. A report can be submitted to the SJCEHD within six weeks of
completion of the fieldwork.
