Receptor Survey Report w <br /> Raymond Investment Corporation,Stockton,CA <br /> Page 6 <br /> to confidentiality, he could not provide the exact locations of the wells, but the general locations are <br /> indicated on Figure 3, attached Mr Mar did indicate the following information regarding the wells the <br /> well indicated as 39-1020 on Figure 3 has been inactive since 1979 because of water quality, and the well <br /> indicated as 50897 on Figure 3 is also inactive because of water quality <br /> Interviews with residents were conducted to determine whether the study area was on public or private <br /> water supply All of the contacted residents within the Site reconnaissance area stated that they were on <br /> public water, CWSC Public water usage could not be verified for each and every resident Tony Tovar, <br /> acting Senior Civil Engineer for the City of Stockton (City) was contacted in regards to the County or - - <br /> City buildings in Downtown Stockton Mr Tovar indicated the City does not provide water to those <br /> buildings, they all receive water from CWSC r <br /> SITE RECONNAISSANCE <br /> A Site reconnaissance within 500 feet of the Site was conducted on foot and within 2,000 feet of the Site <br /> via automobile No surface water bodies are indicated within the study area, although in the past, <br /> Downtown Stockton contained many small intermittent streams The Site radius contains a combination <br /> of old and new commercial and residential buildings with three community parks (located to the west, <br /> east, and south in the study area) and north-south trending railroad tracks (located in the eastern portion of <br /> the study area) Childcare centers, schools, and a health care facility were identified within the 2,000-foot <br /> radius during the Site reconnaissance <br /> Selected residents within the study area were interviewed during the Site reconnaissance All of the <br /> contacted residents within the Site reconnaissance area stated that they were on public water DWR well <br /> record locations were verified for existence of the received documented wells Only one of the two <br /> municipal wells (50897) was observed during the Site reconnaissance Two pumps, labeled Sl and S2 <br /> (possibly for sumps), and three monitor wells were observed in the lower parking area of the courthouse <br /> No wells were observed at 417 E Weber Avenue or at 202 E Main Streets, only reconstructed buildings <br /> were observed A possible well was observed behind the store at 520 E Main Street it was not in use and <br /> the pump was removed No undocumented potable water wells were observed during the Site <br /> reconnaissance However, monitoring wells and remediation/extraction systems were observed <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> Condor concludes that <br /> • Interviews and Site reconnaissance of properties in the study area indicate that the area is serviced <br /> with potable water by CWSC <br /> • The two municipal wells with DWR well records (50897 and 39-1020) are inactive due to water <br /> quality issues and do not serve the study area <br /> • It is possible that three of the wells with DWR well records (39-1089, 39-1090, and 39-1091) <br /> were destroyed during redevelopment of the Downtown Stockton area <br /> • The owner of the observed well (39-1087) with a DWR well record should have the well properly <br /> destroyed, according to SJCEHD accepted procedures This well is currently inactive and is up- <br /> gradient relative to the Site <br /> Confidential well driller's logs for all six wells (as indicated above) were obtained from the DWR Logs <br /> are not included with this report for compliance with Water Code Section 13752, but Condor will provide <br /> confidential copies to State Agencies upon request Information from the logs pertinent to this assessment <br /> is provided in Table 1 <br /> 0 <br /> F � <br /> �� Co R <br />
