Table 2 Groundwater Sample Analytical Results (March 9, 2006) Sample 1 D Sample Date B T E X TPH-G TEPH-D MTBE (n/L) 01g/L) (FLS-) W/L) (µg/L) (pg/L) (µgr-) MW-1 03/09/06 <0 5 <0 5 <0 5 - MW-2 1 03/09/06 <0 5 1 <0 5 1 <05 < 10 <50 1 <50 I <0 5 Unit Converstons pg/L=nucrogr-ams per liter=parts per billion(ppb) Analytical B,T,H,X-benzene,toluene ethyl benzene total xylenes TP14-G=total petroleum hydrocarbons,quantified as gasoline TEPH-D=total extractable petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel(D) MTBE=methyl tertiary-butyl ether The laboratory analytical results indicate that none of the analytical constituents were detected at or above the laboratory reported detection limits in the groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and MW-2 on March 9, 2006 This is generally consistent with historic groundwater monitoring results (see Table A, r attached) FUTURE WORK/RECOMMENDATIONS Based on historic groundwater monitoring data for the Site through the third quarter of 2005, Condor recommended consideration for Site closure in the Third Quarter Groundwater Monitoring Report, dated October 5, 2005 The results of the November 18, 2005 and March 9, 2006 monitoring further substantiate the historic data and support a"low nsk groundwater"designation for the Site Ms McCartney of the SJCEHD indicated in her letter dated February 22, 2006 that a recommendation for Site closure could not yet be supported because the SJCEHD did not believe that the vertical extent of impacted soil and groundwater had been demonstrated in the area of soil borings SB3 and SB4 (advanced in May 2004), and also that further groundwater and soil investigation will be necessary to assess the lateral extent of hydrocarbon contamination in the area of and down-gradient of SB3 Ms McCartney - - -- indicated that additional monitoring wells would be required to assess the lateral extent of groundwater — - - contamination and requested that a work plan be submitted to the SJCEHD by April 10, 2006 McCartney also requested in her February 22, 2006 letter that a sensitive receptor survey (SRS) report and a work plan to evaluate the threat of vapor intrusion inside the Site buildings be submitted by May 1, 2006 At Condor's request, Ms McCartney approved to extend the deadline to submit the SRS report and vapor intrusion evaluation work plan to June 30, 2006, and to extend the deadline to submit the work plan to address the lateral and vertical extents of contamination to May 31, 2006, in her letter dated April 7, 2006 Condor is currently preparing the work plans and SRS report The next quarterly monitoring event is scheduled for June 2006 LIMITATIONS This report was prepared under the direct supervision of a Certified Hydrogeologist in the State of California The standard of care for all services performed or furnished by Condor is commensurate with the care and skill ordinarily used by members of the environmental profession practicing under similar conditions at the same time in the same locality Condor is not responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information collected and developed by others i �� CONDOR
