- - -- _ Y Monttonng well Installation Report <br /> 730 E Channel Street,Stockton,CA <br /> December 15,2004 <br /> Page 5 <br /> well-casing volumes were removed from each monitoring well during development The water purged <br />' from the three wells was brown and cloudy, and did not clear during development <br /> A moderate petroleum odor was noted in the groundwater purged from monitoring well MW-2 during <br /> well development No petroleum odor was noted in the groundwater purged from monitoring wells MW-1 <br /> and MW-3R during well development The purge water discharged from the wells during development <br /> was placed in 55-gallon drums, labeled, and left on Site to await disposal Groundwater Well <br />' Development Field Forms are included in Appendix C - _37 WELL CASING SURVEY <br /> I Following installation of the monitoring wells, the wells were surveyed to determine the location and <br /> elevation of the well collars in order to comply with AB2886 (Water Code sections 13195 — 13198) The <br /> well collars were surveyed with a vertical accuracy of 0 01 foot to a NGVD29 vertical datum and with a <br /> horizontal accuracy of 0 10 foot to a NAD83 horizontal datum The measuring point for water-level <br /> measurements was marked on each well collar Monitoring well survey details are presented in Table 2 <br /> The well survey data has been submitted to the State Water Resources Control Board in Electronic <br /> z Deliverable Format (EDF) as required by AB 2886 A well survey report is included in Appendix B <br /> ITable 2 Monitoring WeII Survey Details <br /> Monitoring Well Northing Easting Elevation <br /> MW-1 2171471 84 6336283 52 1635 <br /> MW-2 2171435 42 6336319 27 1652 <br /> 0 MW-3R 2171489 23 6336314 94 1578 <br /> 38 GROUNDWATER SAMPLING <br /> On November 8, 2004, a Condor representative was on Site to measure water levels and collect <br /> groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3R All down-hole field equipment <br /> - -was decontaminated in the field with a solution of laboratory-grade, non-phosphate detergent and <br /> deionized water and double-nnsed with deionized water prior to use in each well All field instruments <br /> were calibrated to the manufacturer's recommended standards The water level in the monitoring wells <br />' was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot with a battery-operated, flat-tape, water level meter A new, <br /> disposable, polyethylene bailer was lowered into each well to collect a field-inspection sample The bailer <br /> sample was inspected for floating product, sheen, discoloration and odor Floating product was not <br /> I observed in any of the inspection samples from the monitoring wells A moderate petroleum odor was <br /> noted in the inspection sample from monitoring well MW-2 <br /> Monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3R were purged with disposable, polyethylene bailers until <br /> approximately three well casing volumes of groundwater were removed and the electrical conductivity, <br /> pH, and temperature of the purged water stabilized The purge water was discharged to 55-gallon drums, <br /> labeled, and left on Site to await disposal Groundwater Monitoring Field Forms are included in Appendix <br /> C <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3R by filling <br /> I laboratory-supplied containers directly from disposable, single—use polyethylene bailers equipped with a <br /> bottom-emptying device The filled sample containers were labeled, placed in a cooler chilled with Blue <br /> ice®, and delivered under chain-of-custody procedures to Argon <br /> a4 <br /> I �t� CONDOR <br />
