Comment Tank 1: Are the Tanks Grounded And/Or Bonded Properly? - Ground tanks <br /> per NFPA 780 or other accepted industry standard. <br /> Response:Grounding provided (Photo 1). <br /> 2. Comment: Tank 1: Emergency Contact Numbers Posted as Required? - Emergency <br /> plan is required and should include postingof emergency contact numbers. <br /> Response:Emergency contact numbers have been posted (Photo 2 & 3). <br /> 3. Comment: Tank 1: Filling Procedures Posted at Fill as Required? - Install signage at <br /> the fill point to document filling procedures. <br /> Response:Filling procedures have been posted (Photo 4). <br /> 4. Comment: Tank 1: Fire Valve Installed? - Install afire valve on product transfer piping <br /> through which liquid could flow through gravity. <br /> Response:Fire valve has been installed on product transfer piping(Photo 5). <br /> 5. Comment Tank 1: NFPA Signage - Faded. <br /> Resaonse.'Updated NFPA signage installed as required (Photo 6 & 7). <br /> 6. Comment Tank 1: Normal Vent Properly Sized?- Per NFPA 30 2015 2 1.4.3.3 Normal <br /> vents shall be sized in accordance with either API Standard 2000,Venting Atmospheric <br /> and Low-Pressure Storage Tanks, or another approved standard. Alternatively, the <br /> normal vent shall be at least as large as the largest filling or withdrawal connection, <br /> but in no case shall it be Iessthan I? in. (3.2 cm) nominal inside diameter. <br /> Resaonse: Normal vent reduces to 2-inch diameter which matches size of fill and <br /> discharge piping (previous correspondence with CUPA inspector addressed this <br /> question). Fire inspector had no comment on this configuration. See Attachment 1. <br /> 7. Comment Tank 1: Stairways - Handrails - Platforms - ladders - Damage <br /> Response:Noted.
