TitetJex THE RIGHT CONNECTION
Features:
Titeflex Firesafe connectors
are built with a longer
hex, providing a greater
wrench surface. This longer
hex surface reduces the
possibility of the wrench
slipping off the hex during
installation, causing
damage to the flex.
Titeflex connectors with
swivel male pipe fittings
are built using an intregal,
permanently attached
retaining device.
Conventional connectors
use an external snap ring
retainer, which could
become dislodged during
installation.
Titeflex Firesafe connectors
are designed to optimize
the flow cavity in order to
minimize the effects of
dimensional variation on
system pressure loss. This
design feature also allows
the connector to be bent
at a smaller radius than a
conventional connector.
v_- 1 -I n;ctrihâ–ºdnr'
Titeflex Firesafe connectors
utilize a piloted nation to
eliminate flexure in the
heat affected zone, created
during the welding of the
fitting and the hose together
Flexure in this zone short-
ens the flex fatigue life of
the connector and leads to
premature failure.
Titeflex connectors use an
elongated male pipe
thread, allowing the fitting
to be fully engaged, when
connecting to a standard
fiberglass coupling with
recessed thread.
Titeflex Commercial Products - 603 Hendee Street, Springfield, MA 01139-0054 USA
Phone: 413-739-5631, Toll Free: 800-765-2525 - Fax: 413-788-7593 - www.titeflexcommercial.com
Titeflex Commercial Products - 1995 Peacock Boulevard, Oceanside, CA 92056-3580 USA
Phone: 760-721-4990, Toll Free: 800-291-4673 - Fax: 760-721-0114 - www.titel.excommercial.com
Titeflex Europe S.A. - 22 Avenue Maurice Chevalier - B.P. 73 Zone Industrielle, 77833 Ozoir-la-Ferriere, Cedex, France
Phone: 33 (0) 1 60 18 52 00 - Fax: 33 (0) 1 64 40 23 37 - www.titeflex.fr
SMLths
A Smiths Group plc company
