State Water Resources Control Board <br />Pagel of 2 <br />Home Water Issues Programs Ust > Leak Prevention » Lg113 » Vendors <br />UST Programs - LG 113 <br />.............I....I................................................................................................................................................ <br />Issue Date: September 22, 2004 <br />Revision Date: April 11, 2007 <br />Veeder-Root <br />TLS 350, 350PC, 350R, 350RPC, 350Plus, LLD -300, Red Jacket ProMax Leak Detector, <br />Series 8484, Software Version X19 or Higher <br />(for Rigid and/or Flexible Pipelines) <br />AUTOMATIC ELECTRONIC LINE LEAK DETECTOR <br />Certification Leak rate of 3.0 gph at 10 psi* with PD = 100% and PFA = 0%. <br />Leak rate of 0.2 gph at operating pressure with PD = 100% and PFA = 0%. <br />Leak rate of 0.1 gph at 1.5 times operating pressure* with PD = 100% and PFA = 0%. <br />*Since leak rate varies as a function of pressure, this leak rate and pressure were certified <br />using an equivalent leak rate and pressure, in accordance with an acceptable protocol. <br />Leak 1.5 gph for leak rate of 3.0 gph. <br />Threshold 0.17 gph for leak rate of 0.2 gph. <br />0.05 gph for leak rate of 0.1 gph. <br />A pipeline system should not be declared tight if the test result indicates a loss that equals or <br />exceeds this threshold. <br />Applicability Gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, ethanol blends (with gasoline) between 0% and 98%, absolute <br />ethanol (100%)*, biodiesel and biodiesel blends(with diesel). <br />Other liquids may be tested after consultation with the manufacturer. <br />*LG 113 Listings apply to leak detection functionality only and not material compatibility — <br />see "Disclaimer." <br />Specification System tests pressurized rigid, flexible, and combination of rigid and flexible pipelines. <br />Tests are conducted at operating pressure. <br />System will not function with a mechanical line leak detector installed in the pipeline. <br />Pipeline Maximum of 119.4 gallons. <br />Capacity <br />Waiting Time None between delivery and testing. <br />None between dispensing and testing for leak rate of 3.0 gph. <br />Minimum of 4 minutes to 1 hour, 9 minutes between dispensing and testing for leak rate of <br />0.2 gph. <br />Minimum of 1 to 4 hours between dispensing and testing for leak rate of 0.1 gph. <br />Test Period Response time is 1 to 6 minutes for leak rate of 3.0 gph. <br />http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/ust/leak_prevention/lg 113/vendors/... 3/13/2009 <br />
