® Positive alarm indication of any liquid in
double-wall steel tanks.
® System indicators pinpoint alarm location.
0, Simple to install.
0'Two-wire connection to system monitor.
► l=ast action helps prevent serious safety
and environmental problems.
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for use in Steel
Tanks detects the presence of liquid in the interstitial
space of a double-wall steel tank. Liquid in the annu-
lus could mean a dangerous leak. When liquid is de-
tected, the sensor sends an alarm signal to a TLS -
350R, TLS -350, ILS -350, TLS -3001, TLS -300C,
TLS -250i or ILS -250 monitor. The monitor's visual
and audible built-in alarm indicators immediately tell
you where the problem is, so you can quickly take
action to help prevent serious safety and environ-
mental problems.
The TLS -350R, TLS -350, ILS -350, TLS -300i, TLS -
300C, TLS -250i and ILS -250 systems feature internal
alarm relays that can also trigger on-site alarms for
even greater warning capability. The TLS -350R,
TLS -350, TLS -300i and TLS -300C alarm signals
from the sensor triggers a report showing the time
and the location of the alarm condition. This informa-
tion is stored in the system's alarm history and can
be retrieved through the monitor's integral printer or
remotely through its data communications interface.
The Veeder-Root Interstitial Sensor for Steel Tanks
can be used in the annulus of steel tanks with a
sensor riser pipe of 1.5" I.D. or greater. Only two
wires are required to connect the sensor to a TLS
or ILS system.
Detection Capabilities
► The presence of any liquid in the tank's interstitial
space triggers a Fuel Alarm.
Operating Capabilities
► Operating Temperature Range: -20'C to +70'C
(Hydrocarbons); 0' C to 70'C (non-freezing Water).
► Storage Temperature Range: -40"C to +75' C.
► Cable Length: 25 feet.
► Dimensions: 2.5" high, 1.50" dia.
Standard Components
QTY
DESCRIPTION
1
Interstitial Steel Tank Sensor
2
Watertight Cord Grips
