Y' <br /> Date September 25, 2001 <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> This monitoring program must be kfpt at the UST location at all times. The information on this monitoring program are <br /> conditions of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify San Joaquin County Public Health Services within 30 days of <br /> any changes to the monitoring procedures, unless required to obtain approval before making the change. <br /> Required by Sections-2632(d)and 2641(h)CCR. <br /> Facility Name Safeway Store#2600 <br /> Facility Address West 1 Vh Street & Corral Hollow Road, Tracy <br /> 1. If an unauthorized release occurs, how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? Note: <br /> If released hazardous substances reach the environment, increase the fire or <br /> explosion hazard, are not cleaned up from the secondary containment within 8 <br /> hours, or deteriorate the secondary containment, then San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services must be notified within 24 hours. For small spills the on siteern sonnel <br /> will use absorbent material to clean un the released material In the event of a larger, <br /> Spill the operator will call 9-1-1 (if necessarvl the Safeway Store Manager and <br /> Tanknology to assist in the emergency. <br /> 2. Describe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and properly <br /> disposing of any hazardous substances. <br /> Spent absorbent will be placed into an approved container and disposed of in accordance <br /> with all Local. State and Federal laws and regulations The operator is responsible for <br /> coordinating the disposal of all used absorbent Any additional equipment will be <br /> provided be the responding contractor. <br /> 3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 above. <br /> Absorbent is maintained on site and restocked as needed by the site personnel The <br /> contractor maintains any additional equipment, and available on an as needed basis <br /> 4. Describe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment. <br /> Absorbent is inspected weekly and reordered as needed. Any egUinment provided by the <br /> responding contractor is the responsibility of that contractor. <br /> 5.
