Soil contamination was evidenced (see Table 1). <br /> i <br /> c S <br /> 1989 <br /> 1/27/89 Approximately 350 cubic yards was excavated and soil samples were a <br /> collected to confirm that the soil contamination was removed (see Table 2). <br /> The excavated soil was transported under manifest to BF Waste Systems, <br /> I. Vasco Road Landfill in Livermore. <br /> 1990 <br /> 7/12/90 One underground storage tank was removed, a 1 ,000 gal. Soil i <br /> contamination was evidenced (see Table 3). <br /> 1992 <br /> 10/9/92 One soil boring was drilled through the former tank pit, 81 , evidencing soil <br /> contamination to 50 feet below ground surface (see Table 4). <br /> 1993 <br /> 3/9/93 Three monitoring wells were drilled and installed (see Table 5). Quarteriy <br /> sampling was initiated (see Table 6 and Table 7). <br /> i <br /> 8/30/93 Soil excavation of contamination was initiated. Soil was excavated to 30 <br /> feet and approximately 1,000 cubic yards was removed (see Table 8). <br /> 9/21/93 Soil excavation was continued to approximately 39 feet and approximately <br /> 200 cubic yards was removed (see Table 8). The contaminated soil was <br /> transported to B&J Landfill in Vacaville CA. <br />. � l <br /> 1994 F <br /> 8/9/94 The site was presented to the TRC for closure. Closure was not ` <br /> I` <br /> recommended until some deficiencies in the reporting was corrected. <br /> 1995 i ! <br /> 2/7/94 Reviewed the Revised Closure Summary Report. Prepared chronology <br /> recommending site closure. PHS/EHD has evalaluated the site for closure <br /> r, } <br /> and has found that all necessary remedial action have been implement and <br /> no further action is required. <br /> i <br /> f <br /> 11 5 <br />
