Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 RPM <br /> 117 7 5} <br /> *'�t <br />' Subject: Stockpiled Soil Removal - NOV 2 ` 1992 <br /> 1649 East Channel Street <br /> Stockton, California ENVIRONMENTAL HFALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Dear Ms. Meays: <br /> A soil remediation platy/soil boring site assessment workplan was <br /> submitted to the SJ PHS/EHD by Geological Audit Services, Inc. <br /> (GeoAudit) on 21 August 1992 . The soil remediation plan outlined <br /> the sampling procedures and protocol for the stockpiled soil on the <br /> property. <br /> On 31 August 19921 twenty-four soil samples were collected from <br /> approximately 1, 200 cubic yards of stockpiled soil on the property. <br /> The soil samples were composited and analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH as gas, TPH as diesel) , purgeable aromatics <br /> (BTE&X) , halogenated volatile organics, RCI (reactivity, <br /> corrosivity, ignitibility) , toxicity characteristic leaching <br /> procedure BTE&X (TCLP-BTE&X) and CAM 17 metals. The laboratory <br /> report and chain of custody are attached in Appendix A. <br /> I After reviewing the results of the soil analysis, the soil was <br /> transported under non-hazardous special waste manifest to BFI Waste <br /> Systems in Livermore (Vasco Road Sanitary Landfill) on 21 September <br /> 1992 . The soil was loaded and transported by MP Environmental <br /> Services under the direction of Mr. Ron Rinehart of Rino <br /> Environmental.
