REVISED CLOSURE SUMMARY REPORT <br /> Mid-Cal Leasing <br /> 1649 East Channel Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> October 1994 <br /> t <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' In accordance with a request from Mr Ed GotelIi of Mid-Cal Leasing (MCL), Geological <br /> Audit Services, Inc. (GeoAudit) has prepared this revised Closure Summary Report (CSR) <br />' for the property located at 1649 East Channel Street in Stockton, California (the site) <br /> Included in this report is a complete history of tank removal, assessment and remediation <br /> activities at the site <br /> The site is located in a flat, commercial/light industrial area of central Stockton The site is <br /> currently vacant and undeveloped A residential area is located northeast of the site The <br />' Iocation of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A pian of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> 2.0 REMOVAL OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK'S <br /> 2.1 Tank Removal, October 1988 <br />' One 8,000-galIon diesel tank and one 10,000-gallon diesel tank were removed from the site <br /> on October 7, 1988 by Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc (JTO) The tanks were located on the eastern <br />' portion of the site, near the property line (see Figures 2 and 3) Two soil samples were <br /> collected from beneath each tank The samples were collected and analyzed by <br /> representatives of Canonie Environmental of Stockton, California The analytical results <br />' from the UST removal are summarized in Table 1 The analytical results and chain-of- <br /> custody are included in Appendix A The approximate locations of the soil samples are <br />' illustrated on Figure 3 <br /> 2.2 Excavation and Disposal of Hydrocarbon Impacted Soil <br /> Hydrocarbon impacted soil was encountered during the tank removal The impacted soil was <br /> excavated from the tank cavity by JTO and seven soil samples were collected (Table 2). <br />' According to JTO approximately 350 cubic yards of hydrocarbon impacted soil were <br /> removed from the excavation and stockpiled on-site Laboratory results of the soil samples <br /> are included in Appendix B <br /> Oeobpnl Au4t Sew.era Ine <br /> Md Gt R-" 60094 <br /> r ' <br /> rr <br />
