(Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC to document the underground storage tank (UST) removal at the above <br /> referenced site. Cambria performed inspections and soil sampling following the removal of <br /> three gasoline USTs, one diesel UST, four fuel dispenser islands, associated product piping and <br /> vent lines, and subsequent over-excavation activities. The work was performed to comply <br /> with San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (SJCPHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) <br /> guidelines. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description: The site is currently a non-operating gasoline station located on the <br /> southeast corner of West Charter Way and Lincoln Street in a mixed commercial and <br /> residential area of Stockton, California (Figure 1). The site layout consists of a service <br /> station building, a car wash, two generations of former dispensers, and an excavated former <br /> UST complex (Figure 2). The land surface slopes gently towards the San Joaquin River, <br /> Oakland. CA which is approximately 1.5 miles south of the site. I Texaco began retailing gasoline at the <br /> Sonoma, CA site in the 1960s and closed the facility in December 1998. <br /> Portland, OR <br /> Seattle, WA <br /> Previous Investigations: During October 1988, two dispensers were removed and soil <br /> Cambria impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons beneath the eastern dispenser was excavated to an <br /> Environmental approximate depth of 15 feet below grade (fbg).
