This was the fourth quarterly sampling of the most
recently installed wells at this site, MW-20-83.5, MW-21-80, MW-22-80 and MW-23.
Analytical results reported consistent concentrations of contaminants in each of these wells.
The only recommendation CRA makes in the Report is to continue routine quarterly
groundwater monitoring and sampling of the site. Per California Code of Regulations, Title
23, Chapter 16, Section 2652c, contaminated underground storage tank (UST) site reports
are required to contain proposals for investigating and cleaning up the site, and a time
schedule for implementing the proposed actions.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Chapter 16, Section 2725, Responsible Parties
of contaminated UST sites are required to complete an investigation to assess the vertical
and lateral extent of the release at their site, and to determine a cost-effective method of
cleanup. Please prepare a work plan to continue the investigation of the lateral extent of the
contamination reported in the mid-level wells at this site and submit it to SJC/EHD no later
than March 6, 2008.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
WLY wtcu v
Lori Duncan, REHS Margaro, REHS ^•
Registered Environmental Health Specialist Program Coordinator
c: Jim Barton, CVRWQCB, 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
Joe Neely, Conestoga-Rovers, 19449 Riverside Drive, Suite 230, Sonoma, CA 95476
