The following participants were in attendance:
Kyle Christie ARCO Products Company Margaret Lagorio PHS/EHD
Steve Meisner Brown and Caldwell Mary Meays PHS/EHD
Ron Zurlinden Brown and Caldwell Ron Rowe PHS/EHD
Jay R. Johnson EMCON Linda Turkatte PHS/EHD
Diane M. Hinson PHS/EHD Michael Infurna PHS/EHD
Kyle Christie explained to PHS/EHD the recent reorganization of the environmental
division at ARCO. All active ARCO stations will be handled by Kyle Christie. Those
ARCO facilities that are being divested or are no longer actively operating as service
stations will be handled by Chris Winsor. Chuck Carmel is now in the divestment
group under Chris Winsor.
Starting with the new year, all groundwater sampling events will be the responsibility
of the consulting firm handling the investigation and cleanup at each site. This
should allow for better communication between ARCO, PHS/EHD and the consulting
firms.
The protocol for sending access agreements to property owners is as follows: The
first letter is mailed and if there is no response after 30 days another letter is mailed.
If there is still no response after another 30 days, ARCO will prepare a summary to
submit to PHS/EHD for follow up.
The following are summaries of the discussions and agreements reached for each
site on the agenda.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Cure Services
