However, I was disturbed to read that <br /> the PHS/EHD staff believes that the commitments which ARCO made in March <br /> of 1993 have not been met and that ARCO has failed to comply with our mutual <br /> agreements. This is simply not the case and I believe that you have been <br /> misinformed by your staff. This letter reviews action items which were agreed <br /> upon at the March 1993 meeting and work which ARCO has performed to <br /> address the action items. <br /> Resna, on behalf of ARCO, mailed on April 22, 1993 a summary of the ARCO - <br /> PHS/EHD meeting to Ms. Laurie Cotulla of the PHS/EHD and Ms. Beth Thayer <br /> of the RWQCB. On April 29, 1993 the PHS/EHD responded with a letter to <br /> ARCO which also summarized the meeting and presented action items which <br /> were to be performed. Site specific discussion of the action items follow. <br /> Fac. #2130, 7906 N. El Dorado St., Stockton <br /> PHS/EHD recommended that additional offsite wells be installed to the <br /> south and that the results of the air sparging tests be submitted. <br /> In early November of 1993, after access permission had finally been <br /> granted by Cal Trans, ARCO was able to install 2 wells south of the facility. <br /> Three sampling events have been performed on these wells since they were <br /> installed.
