Box 2009 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
Stockton, CA 95201 PERMIT/SERVICES
RE: TEXACO SERVICE STATION
440 WEST CHARTER WAY
STOCKTON,CALIFORNIA
Dear Ms. Hinson:
Enclosed are the laboratory results of the fecal coliform analyses for monitoring wells(MWs) 6 and 7 at
the above-referenced site, As required by San Joaquin Public Health Services, fecal coliform analyses
were conducted on these wells because their locations were not in conformance with the setback
requirement of 50 feet from a sanitary sewer. MW-10 was not sampled because of an obstruction within
the well
Sampling of these wells was conducted on July 19, 1990. Laboratory analyses indicate fecal coliform
concentrations of<2 colony count per 100 milliliters of samples. A copy of the laboratory report has been '
enclosed for your reference.
These wells have not contained detectable concentrations of fecal coliform in any of the three sampling
events, (May,June, and July 1990). Therefore, Groundwater Technology would like to request that the
sampling frequency be reduced to every six months. If the request meets with your approval, please
notify our office at your earliest convenience.
Please contact Grcundwater Technology's West Sacramento office if you have questions or comments,
Sincerely,
GROUNDWATER TECHNOLOGY, !NC.
MARTIN J.
