N-3139-1-0 <br /> 440 WEST CHARTER WAY, STOCKTON, CA <br /> Mr Crow- <br /> Enclosed for your review is the Quarterly Monitoring Report for the period April through June <br /> 1996 for the above referenced site SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR) is forwarding <br /> you a copy of this report on behalf of Mr Dave Heinrich of Texaco Refining and Marketing, <br /> Inc <br /> The soil remediation system consists of four dual-completion vadose zone extraction wells, a ° <br /> vacuum blower, and a thermal oxidizer A SECOR technician visited the site bi-monthly to <br /> monitor the system Activities performed during these visits included equipment inspection, <br /> influent and effluent soil vapor concentration measurements, and control system adjustmentsd� <br /> A flame ionization detector (FID) was used by the technician to measure the soil vapor ' <br /> concentrations when the soil remediation system was operating Influent and effluent soil vapor z <br /> samples were collected each month (when the system was operational) in Tedlar sample bags and ° <br /> submitted to BC Analytical in Glendale, California for laboratory analysis " <br /> a <br /> During this reporting period, the soil remediation system was down periodically due to a faulty n <br /> circuit breaker which has since been replaced On May 17, 1996, the thermal oxidizer system <br /> was shut down because analytical results indicated that permit conditions were exceeded The <br /> �r <br /> thermal oxidizer was re-activated on May 21, 1996 after FID monitoring conducted during the <br /> re-activation indicated no detectable hydrocarbon constituents in the effluent process stream <br /> The soil vapor analytical results and system efficiency results are enclosed with this report <br /> Approximately 4,781 pounds of gasoline have been removed and treated at the Site since the `{ <br /> system began operating in January 1996 <br /> 1ES'SlnckbtVChUtaWay co SRCOR <br /> N000 t-00" <br /> Juky29 1996 <br /> y r y <br /> 5Ilecl Vfoemlcnlo C 1 �5 16-7001 (91() 156-IM, (916) IwTo W101 11 �� <br />
