C A M B R I A <br /> • <br /> In November 2000, Cambria installed four CPT bonngs to further assess the vertical and lateral <br /> extent of petroleum hydrocarbons beneath the site Soil from these borings contained TPHg at <br /> concentrations up to 3,150 ppm and benzene at concentrations up to 14 7 ppm Groundwater <br /> from these borings contained TPHg at concentrations up to 109,000 ppm and benzene at <br /> concentrations up to 31,300 parts per billion (ppb) This investigation is documented in our <br /> December 20, 2000 Site Investigation Report <br /> In November 2001, Cambria installed three CPT borings to further assess the vertical and lateral <br /> extent of petroleum hydrocarbons beneath the site Soil from these borings contained TPHg at <br /> concentrations up to 12 ppm and benzene at concentrations up to 0 084 ppm Groundwater from <br /> r <br /> these borings contained TPHg at concentrations up to 47,000 ppm and benzene at concentrations <br /> up to 19,000 parts per billion (ppb) Well MW-16 was also destroyed on November 15, 2001 <br /> This investigation is documented in our December 13, 2001 Site Investigation Report <br /> In August 2002, Cambria installed six deep zone monitoring wells to further assess the vertical <br /> and lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbons beneath the site No soil samples were collected <br /> from these borings This investigation is documented in our October 2, 2002 Site Investigation <br /> Report/Groundwater Monitoring Report— Third Quarter 2002 <br /> A quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling program has been in place at this site since <br /> February 1992 Depth to water at this site has ranged from approximately 17 to 40 fbg and <br /> groundwater flow direction has been predominantly to the east/southeast <br /> INVESTIGATION RESULTS <br /> Personnel Present Geologists Scott Lewis directed the drilling activities under the <br /> supervision of California Registered Geologist Joe Neely <br /> Permit- A drilling permit was obtained from SJCEHD (Permit number <br /> 39015) Copy of the permit is included as Appendix A <br /> Drilling Company• Gregg Drilling(C57 License No 485165) <br /> Drilling Dates August 30 through September 2, 2004 <br /> Drilling Method CPT drilling equipment was used <br /> 1399 3 <br />
