The Report, CSA and CPA Application should
be submitted within weeks. The RP group is still trying to have a face to face meeting
with Mr. Don Rodgers of the Transmission Store to explain their offer to him for
participation in the group. The group is willing to move forward with five participating
sites. Mr. Sergio Morescalchi, who was selected at the last meeting to represent the RPs
in discussions with CVRWQCB and SJCEHD, will be making the final decision to move on with
five sites, after discussions with the other RPs in the next few days. Sara Lee is
anxious to move forward and is willing to go with five participants.
One question that has been raised by the group of RPs, is whether CVRWQCB and SJCEHD have
discussed the pending CPA agreement and the transition of the sites to one regulatory
lead. At this point, the five sites have three different case managers between CVRWQCB
and SJCEHD. Everyone realizes that this transition cannot occur until the application is
received. However, preliminary discussions between your agencies and the RP group would
provide a smooth transition to a cooperative relationship. These discussions will also
help with the scopes of work required for the sites until the application has been
accepted. Currently, each site is progressing down unparallel paths toward corrective
action. Sara Lee and the other RPS would like to focus on work that fills data gaps in
1
