last e-mail • • Page 3 of 4
From: George Forsythe [mailto:gforsythe@secor.com]
Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 11:39 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Cc: sfurgal@secor.com; devans@secor.com
Subject: RE: last e-mail
Hi Vicki
This email is intended to summarize the important points of our telephone conversation
last week regarding the Site Conceptual Model for Chevron station #92033, located at 508
West Charter Way in Stockton. Please feel free to add any additional comments regarding
anything you feel I haven't covered.
My understanding of our conversation is that:
1) You didn't feel that SECOR had accurately addressed the mass balance
calculations for TPH diesel remaining in soils at the site.
2) You had requested a meeting between SECOR and the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department to discuss issues in the SCM that you feel
SECOR needs to address. We have tentatively set up March 22, 2005 for the
meeting. Do you have a specific time?
3) You felt that there were other areas of the SCM which SECOR had not
adequately addressed. Could you elaborate on these areas before our
meeting so I can prepare a response?
I believe that David Evans (SECOR-Sacramento)talked to you last week and explained
that although Bob Jackson had left SECOR in May of 2003, his email account had been
inadvertently left open. Therefore, as the new project manager, I was unaware of any
correspondence between SJCEHD and SECOR. To avoid this in the future, please follow
up any email correspondence with a letter to myself in the Fresno office.
Thanks for your understanding in this matter. I look forward to your comments and
working with you to complete this project.
George Forsythe
Senior Geologist, RG, CEG, CHg.
SECOR International Inc.
3475 West Shaw Avenue, Suite 104
Fresno, CA, 93711
-----Original Message-----
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [mailto:vmccartney@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2005 2:46 PM
To: gforsythe@secor.com
Subject: last e-mail
George,
I've forwarded all the e-mails to you. The last e-mail was returned to me. I don't
know why but it was an e-mail from Bob Jackson thanking me for extending the
date to March 30th. It is not an important e-mail.
Vicki McCartney,REHS
2/22/2005
