October 31,2016 <br /> Mr.Alan Buehler <br /> Reference: Quarterly Status Summary Report-Third Quarter 2016 <br /> In 2003, the City of Stockton changed the name of a portion of West Charter Way to Dr. Martin <br /> Luther King Jr. Boulevard. For reporting purposes, the Site has continued to be referred to as the <br /> Stockton Charter Way Commingled Plume Site and the historical Charter Way addresses are <br /> used. <br /> Monitoring and Sampling <br /> Monitoring and sampling was not performed during 3Q16; the Site is sampled on a semi-annual <br /> basis during the second and fourth quarters. <br /> This Quarter's ActiviBes (3016) <br /> 1. Stantec prepared and submitted a Semi-Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report Second <br /> Quarter2016 to the CRWQCB-CVR, dated June 29, 2016. <br /> 2. Stantec prepared and submitted a Work Plan Addendum to the CRWQCB, dated June <br /> 30,2016. <br /> 3. Stantec prepared and mailed a Fact Sheet Notice to the owners and occupants by <br /> August 22,2016 per the CRWQCB-CVR letter dated August 15,2016. <br /> 4. Stantec cancelled the service, disconnected the remediation system-related utilities, <br /> and removed the remediation system and enclosure on the former Texaco parcel. <br /> 5. Stantec conducted a bid walk on September 20, 2016 per the assessment outlined in the <br /> Work Plan dated February 29, 2016, the Work Plan Addendum dated June 30, 2016 and <br /> per the CRWQCB-CVR approval letter dated August 15, 2016. <br /> 6. Stantec started the permitting process for the well installation and system expansion <br /> activities per the Work Plan and Work Plan Addendum dated February 29,2016 and June <br /> 30, 2016, respectively. <br /> 7. Access agreements have been submitted to 1516 S. Lincoln, 1321 Van Buren and 1449 <br /> French Camp Turnpike and responses are pending. <br /> Next Quarter's Activities (4016) <br /> 1. Blaine Tech Services will perform the semi-annual groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> event following new well installation. <br /> 2. Stantec will continue the permitting process for the system expansion activities. <br /> 3. Stantec will obtain additional quotes from subcontractors for the expansion of the <br /> remediation system. <br /> 4. Stantec will install the 29 well locations per the assessment outlined in the Work Plan <br /> dated February 29, 2016, the Work Plan Addendum dated June 30, 2016 and per the <br /> CRWQCB-CVR approval letter dated August 15,2016. <br /> Design with community in mind <br />
