Ms. Lori Duncan
April 12, 2002
Page 9
Project 880-039.1A
Air pressure will be increased from 10 pounds per square inch (psi) to a level that will
allow air flow into the well at approximately 4 cubic feet per minute (cfm). After
approximately 20 minutes into the test, helium will be blended to the injection air at a
rate of 1 cfm.
The radius of influence for the air sparge wells will be estimated by evaluating the
changes in pressures, DO, CO2 and petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations and by the
detection of the helium tracer gas at monitoring locations.
TECHNICAL REPORT
IT will prepare a report summarizing the procedures, field results, and analytical results
approximately 60 days following completion of all fieldwork. The report will include an
evaluation of current site conditions and recommendations for additional work if
appropriate.
SCHEDULE
IT is prepared to initiate the well installations upon approval from the SJCEHD. Once
approval is granted, IT will submit a pre -approval to the Underground Storage Tank
Fund, obtain site access agreements, submit the well permits to the SJCEHD and
schedule the work with the subcontractors. Feasibility testing will be completed
following well installation and development. The SJCEHD will be notified forty-eight
hours prior to any site fieldwork.
IT CORPORATION
SAC:\N:\sacDP\2002\PRJ\PJ8\880\8800391 A.2ac.doc
(01040000)
