A
Mr Don Rodgers Project 2613-100 01
• June 4, 1998
Page 3
tertiary butanol ether (ETBE), and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME) using USEPA Method
8260 Copies of the chain-of-custody records and laboratory analysis reports are presented in
Appendix C
The results of laboratory analyses indicated that dissolved hydrocarbons were present in the monitoring
well. TPHG and benzene were detected at concentrations of 14,000 ppb and 1,700 ppb, respectively
MTBE using USEPA Methods 8020A Modified and 8260 was below laboratory detection limits. The
oxygenates tertiary butanol, DIPE, ETBE, and TAME were also below laboratory detection lumts.
Results of laboratory analyses are presented in the table
CONCLUSIONS
Analytical results of petroleum hydrocarbons were generally consistent with previous sampling events.
Groundwater elevation increased 3 36 feet from the previous samphng event (May 1997)
Pinnacle will continue to perform quarterly groundwater sampling The next sampling event is
scheduled for May 1998.
Please call if you have questions regarding this report or any aspect of the project
Sincerely,
Pinnacle
Mark Cap Ja n
Project Geologist euro oject Supervisor
R G 5867
Attachments Table 1 Groundwater Monitoring Data
Figure 1 Site Location Map
Figure 2 Generalized Site Plan
Appendix A Groundwater Monitoring Field Data Sheets
Appendix B Sampling and Analysis Procedures
Appendix C Chain-of-Custody Records and Laboratory Analysis Reports
cc Ron Rowe, San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Elizabeth Thayer, California Regional Water Quality Control Board
James DiGiorgio, California UST Cleanup Fund Program
SAON\PJ2\2613\26131000 3AB-9"baccus 1 Pumae&
Rev 0,614198
