Exploratory boring logs will be prepared for each of the borings. <br /> Soil samples designated for chemical analyses will be'retained in stainless steel or brass sample <br /> tubes. The tubes will be covered on both ends with Teflon sheets and plastic end caps. <br /> Groundwater samples will be collected in vials with hydrochloric acid preservative and no <br /> headspace. Soil and groundwater samples will be labeled and placed into a cooler with ice for <br /> transport to a State-of-California certified laboratory for analyses. Sample information will be <br /> entered onto a chain-of-custody record: <br /> Chemical Analyses: Soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, fuel <br /> oxygenates (MTBE, di-isopropyl ether; tertiary amyl methyl ether, ethyl tertiary butyl ether, and <br /> tertiary butyl alcohol), 1,2-dichloroethane, and ethylene dibromide by EPA Method 8260B. <br /> Report Preparation: Following the receipt of analytical results from the laboratory and the CPT <br /> boring logs from the driller, Cambria will prepare a written report, which will include field <br /> procedures, laboratory results, conclusions, and recommendations for future activities (including <br /> intermediate and deep well.installation). <br /> The scope of work described in this work plan will be performed under the supervision of a ., t <br /> professional geologist or engineer.` <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Upon receiving work plan approval from SJCEHD, Cambria will prepare SJCEHD drilling and <br /> City of Stockton encroachment permit applications. Cambria will schedule the field work within <br /> 60 days of receiving the approved permits.
