�, �� - .:yam.. �` t�: --yam'"•� 3 ''_ � _ �- .:w a�,�� -�-eP Ms. Diane Hinson -� March 6, I990 Page 5 Sub ective Analysis and Sampling of Ground Water Subjective analysis of a ground water sample removed from each well prior to purging on December I8, 1989, and January 10, 1990, indicated that separa,:-phase, free-floating product was present in monitoring wells ,BIW-2 and NNW-7. Product thickness measured in these two wells in January was 4.45 feet (MW-2) and 0.71-Feet (MW-7). Subjective analysis of samples collected from monitoring wells MW-1,MW-3,MW-4,MW-5,and MW-6 indicate that these wells did not contain free product, or a petroleum product sheen, or a petroleum product odor. Ground water samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-3, MW4, and MW-6 on December 18, 1989. On January 10,1990 ground water samples were collected from MW-5. Samples were not collected from monitoring wells MW-2 or MW-7 due to the presence of free petroleum product. Prior to collecting water samples a minimum of three well volumes of ground water were removed from each well. After purging,and after water levels were allowed to stabilize in the wells, a water sample was recovered from each well using a clean, disposable, teflon bailer as described in EncIo5ure A, Section 5. Ground Water Analytical Results Each ground water sample was submitted for laboratory analysis of BTEX and TPH(g) by EPA and DHS approved methods.
