Mot <br /> MCI <br /> MDROGEOLOGIC A.. <br /> ll SS <br /> PSSMENT WORK PLAN <br /> ShService Station <br /> 62U West Charter Way <br /> Stockton,CaiitornIs <br /> Delta Fralect No,40-88-686 <br /> Pagel <br /> 1 f Wr <br /> To accomplish these objectives, the following work is planned: <br /> • Review available geologic and hydrogeologic data pertinent to the site. <br /> • Drill six standard-penetration,hollow-stem-auger soil borings. <br /> a Describe the nature and properties of soils encountered in each soil boring. <br /> - • Screen the recovered soil samples with a portable photoionization detector (PID) for <br /> total organic vapors. <br /> • Submit selected soil samples for chemical analysis. <br /> ' • Analyze soil samples for ethylene dibromide (EDB), 1,2-dichloroethane (EDC), <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), and total purgeable hyd2ocarbons <br /> (TPH) by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)Method 8260. Soil samples <br /> collected from a boring near the waste oil tank will be analyzed for oil and grease using <br /> EPA Methods 503D and E. <br /> Complete each soil boring as a monitoring well. <br /> �, • Properly Cevelop the monitoring wells and collect water samples from each well. <br /> • Analyze water samples for EDB, EDC,BTEX,and TPH by EPA Method 8260,or for <br /> oil and grease using EPA Method 503E. <br /> • Analyze and evaluate all data collected during the course of the site assessment. <br /> �. • Prepare a report of our findings with recommendations regarding future assessment <br /> and/or remedial activities at the site. <br />
