Approximately one <br /> gallon of product was removed. To date,free product removed by bailing and by the pumping since <br /> December 1989 is estimated to be about 25 gallops. Free product will continue to be bailed from <br /> monitoring well MW-4 on a bimonthly basis. <br /> Status of Additional Investigation and Remedial Activitles <br /> In December 1990, Delta submitted a monitoring w-_1 installation permit application to the City of <br /> Stockton Department of Public Works. The purpose of the permit application was to install an <br /> additional monitoring'yell downgradient from the site in order to more fully characterize the extent of <br /> petroleum constituents in ground water. On April 23,1991,after a telephone conversation with the City <br /> of Stockton, it was apparent that the original permit application had not been received. A new <br /> application was sent on April 23, 1991. The April 23, 1991,submittal to the City of Stockton showing <br /> the proposed location of the additional monitoring well is given as Enclosure C to this report. <br /> 00 On March 21, I991,Ms.Diane Hinson of San Joaquin County Department of Health Services verbally <br /> informed Delta that the Final Remediation Plan submitter!by Delta for this site.had been approved. <br /> Detailed design of the remediation system has been completed, and construction of the remediation <br /> system is pending. <br /> As mentioned previously,an additional free product recovery pump has been installed at the site in order <br /> is <br /> to recover separate-phase petroleum products from monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-7 simultancouq:y. <br /> Monitoring well MW-4 will be hand-bailed on a bimonthly basis until the remedial installation can be <br /> completed. <br /> �F <br /> 1 <br /> Delta will collect ground water samples the last week of July 1991 and submit a written report to the 3 <br /> San Joaquin County,Department of Environmental Health,the first week of September 1991.
