A M 8A Ms Vicki McCartney <br /> R April 6,2006 <br /> INVESTIGATION SUMMARY <br /> Cambria oversaw the advancement of six soil borings (CPT-12 through CPT-17) at the locations <br /> shown on Figure 2 Due to utility conflicts below the sidewalk, boring CPT-12 was moved <br /> approximately 10 feet south of the sidewalk onto the Best Western Motel property, and boring <br /> CPT-15 was moved into West Charter Way Six attempts were made in the eastbound slow lane <br /> of West Charter Way before boring CPT-15 was successfully hand cleared to 5 fbg Two, <br /> attempts at hand clearing were made in the westbound lane of West Charter Way for boring, <br /> CPT-1$, which was not completed due to utility conflicts on the entire side of westbound West <br /> Charter Way between the median and the sidewalk Cambria was unable to collect grab <br /> groundwater samples from boring CPT-14 at 24 fbg and CPT-15 at 25 and 34 fbg because the'' <br /> borings did not produce sufficient water to collect a sample Cambria presents our standard field <br /> procedures for cone penetrometer testing and sampling in Attachment A and summarizes the <br /> details of this subsurface investigation below <br /> Cambria Personnel Present Working under the supervision of California Professional <br /> Geologist Aubrey Cool, Cambria Senior Staff Scientist Stewart <br /> Dahe directed the field activities <br /> Permits: Cambria obtained drilling permits #0044445, #0044447, and <br /> #0044450 from SCJEHD and encroachment permit#69799 from <br /> the City of Stockton (Attachment B) <br /> Drilling Company Gregg InSitu, Inc of Martinez,California <br /> (C57 License#656407) <br /> Drilling Dates October 24 through 26, 200 <br /> r <br /> Drilling Method.
